Career advisory forthe finance industry.
Roadmapping, applications, interviews and positioning, handled 1:1 by someone who still works in the industry you're trying to join.
Who it's for
StudentsTargeting a first analyst seat
Spring weeks, summer internships and graduate schemes. Which ones to apply for, in what order, and how to be ready for each stage of the process.
Graduates & analystsBreaking in without the obvious route
No target-school pedigree, a late start, or a first job that isn't the one you wanted. There is nearly always a way in; it just needs a plan.
Mid-careerPlanning the next move
Promotion, a lateral to a better desk, or a jump to the buy-side. The decision matters more than the application, so we start there.
Career switchersMoving into finance from elsewhere
Engineers, consultants, accountants and others with a transferable skill set. We translate the experience you have into the language the industry hires in.
What we work on
01 · Roadmapping
Know where you're going before you apply anywhere.
Most people apply wide and hope. We start by narrowing: which desks, which firms, which entry route actually fits your background. Then we set a timeline with real dates and the specific gaps to close before each one.
- Target-role shortlist
- 12-month timeline
- Skills gap audit
- Reading and network plan
02 · Applications & interviews
Applications that get read. Interviews that feel rehearsed.
A CV and cover letter rebuilt line by line to what screeners at banks actually look for, then a bank of fifty questions drawn from real interviews. We run mocks until the technical and the behavioural answers are second nature.
- CV & cover-letter rebuild
- 50 real interview questions
- Technical & fit mock interviews
- Feedback after every round
03 · Executive presence
A profile that matches the candidate behind it.
Recruiters check LinkedIn before they reply. We audit the headline, the summary and the experience section so the profile reads at the level you're targeting, and set a simple cadence for keeping it current.
- LinkedIn profile review
- Headline & summary rewrite
- Recruiter-search positioning
- Personal-brand cadence
Questions, answered
The things people ask before they book. If yours isn't here, the free call is the place for it.
Who is the career advisory for?
Anyone building a career in finance: students and graduates targeting their first role, analysts and associates planning the next move, and professionals switching into the industry from elsewhere. Most clients are UK-based, but sessions are remote so location doesn't matter.
How do the sessions work?
Everything is 1:1 and remote over video. You book a slot through Calendly, I review anything you send in advance (CV, target roles, job specs), and we spend the session on the highest-leverage problems first. You leave with a written action list.
Which programme should I start with?
If you want a plan and personal feedback, Career Evolution is the one most people pick. Roadmap is the right start if you're early and want the templates and question bank to work through yourself first. Executive Revision adds the LinkedIn review for people who are actively being searched by recruiters.
Do you guarantee an offer?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What I can promise is honest feedback, a plan that fits your actual situation, and preparation that is specific to the roles you're applying for.
What happens on the free introductory call?
Thirty minutes to talk through where you are and where you want to get to. There's no pitch; if I don't think I can help, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
Is the fitness coaching related?
Separate programme, same approach. Many clients with demanding jobs want a training and nutrition plan that survives a long week; it's the same discipline applied to a different goal. You can read about it on the Fitness page.
Not sure which programme fits?
Book the free call. Thirty minutes, no pitch, and a straight answer about what would actually help.
